Jesse Aranjo

Obituary of Jesse Aranjo

Aranjo, Jesse Saginaw, MI Our loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Jesse was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 23, 1933, the son of the Late Francisco and Maria (Macias) Aranjo. He married Guadalupe Cortez on July 19, 1958, and she survives him. Jesse was a GM retiree after 30 years of service. In his younger years he was a baseball player, and in Jesse's later years loved to watch baseball and play golf. He was also a great ice skater, and showed his sons and daughter how to skate in Hoyt Park. Jesse was a very hard worker and knew how to do just about everything from, roofing, siding, fixing cars, plumbing, laying concrete and the list goes on and on. He instilled in his children to always work hard and to do your best at that job. Jesse will be truly missed for his quick wit and humor. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children, Deborah Aranjo, Richard (Deidre) Aranjo, Roy Aranjo (Stephanie Ware); one grandson, Anthony (Allison) Aranjo of Traverse City, MI.; three great- grandchildren Adrian, Abram and Amelia Aranjo; one granddaughter Jessica Aranjo of Dublin, Ohio; the mother of his grandchildren, Laura Aranjo; one brother, Kenneth Aranjo; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Fernando Aranjo and two sisters, Julia Renteria and Maria Luisa Gomez. Following Jesse's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held at a later date. To sign online guestbook, visit www.cremationsocietymidmi.com
