Obituary of Barney V Ross

Ross, Barney V. Saginaw, MI Barney V. Ross, age 90, passed away on December 2, 2017 at Healthsource, Saginaw, MI after a brief illness. Mr. Ross was a WWII Navy veteran and upon his return from the service he was employed for 35 years as a maintenance supervisor for General Motors until he retired in 1982. He enjoyed wood carving and was a member of the Tri-City Carvers Club and enjoyed carving. He carved one of the horses that are part of the hand-carved carousel at the Saginaw Children's Zoo. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Kathleen; sister, Germaine Boies, Orange City FL; son, Michael Ross, Saginaw MI; three daughters, Susan Clary, Marion NY, Lynne (David) Hardin, Granada Hills CA and Judy (Don) Troxell, Presque Isle MI; stepsons, Arthur (Kim) Prall, Bay City MI and Michael Prall and fiancé Robin, Saginaw MI. He leaves behind twelve grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A private burial service is planned for a later date.
