Obituary of Archer "Archie" Lester

Lester, Archer "Archie" Auburn, MI Archer "Archie" Herschel Lester, 74 years old, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2017 at Bay Shores Nursing Home in Bay City Michigan. He was born in Bay City on February 16, 1943 and lived most of his life here. He loved fishing, hunting and was an avid outdoorsman; a trait he passed on to all six of his children. He was a hard worker and retired from construction in 1999. He is survived by his children Marilou (Joseph) Beebe, David (Amber) Lester, Archie (Kellie) Lester, Karen (Keith) Krzyminski, Dawn (Tony) Freeman, Julie Pedraza; 20 Grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and one great- great granddaughter. Archie was preceded in death by his parents, three siblings and his beloved Mary Lester. A memorial service will be held at a later date. A Special thank you to the Bay Shores Nursing Home and staff (too numerous to name) who helped during his last years of life. With their compassion and kindness, he was able to have a fulfilled, meaningful quality of life.
