Obituary of Ronald W Bowen

Bowen, Ronald W. Sr. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Bowen, passed away early Wednesday morning January 3, 2018 at home due to complications after open heart surgery. He was surrounded by his family and fur babies. The son of the late Lawrence and Ethel (Grobe) Bowen, he was born July 18, 1934 in Bay City. Ronald was a retired truck driver who enjoyed fishing, going to the casino and sitting outside watching his bird and squirrel feeders. Ronald is survived by his children, Ronald (Kim Whitney) Bowen Jr., Deborah Koehler, Cynthia (Brian Schaefer) Farrell, and Stephanie Bowen, grandchildren; Ashley, Kelsey, Amber, Dalton and Brian, a great grandson Deavon his brother William and daughter in law Deb Bowen. Besides his parents Ronald was preceded in death by his wife of 53 yrs Barbara, son in law Richard Farrell and sister Joanne Foerester. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Crissy in ICU, Tara, Stephanie, Laura, Theresa, Kristen and Robert in CCU, hospice nurses Maryann, Laura and Tania at McLaren Bay Region Hospital and a special thanks to home hospice nurse Tiffany for their compassion and care of Ronald during his stay at the hospital and care at home.
