Lisa Daeschlein

Obituary of Lisa A. Daeschlein

Daeschlein, Lisa Bay City, MI Lisa Daeschlein, Mother of Misfits and Lost Souls. Among many things, Lisa loved sand and ocean. On January 25, 2018 at the age of 58 years Lisa confronted, and lost her battle to a shark while she was basking in the blue waters of Tawas Bay. Lisa enjoyed leaving her shoes behind and traveling any road that would lead her to sun and fun. She was the embodiment of home to so many people across the country and beyond, she has never met a stranger. Lisa earned her title as "Mom" to many, whom she welcomed warmly and unconditionally into her arms. Her thunderous opinion won her arguments, regardless if she was right or wrong, and those conversations will be sorely missed. As a loving wife, mother to all, and best friend, she lifted and held us to a place where we could meet our truest potential. The world lost a beacon of joy. Lisa is survived by her devoted husband William Daeschlein; her children, Todd Daeschlein (partner Johnathon Freiburger), Glenn (Ashley) Daeschlein, Tara Harris (Kyle Revette), and Neil Daeschlein; grandchildren, Contessa and Marcus Daeschlein, and Kyla Revette; her siblings, Jim M. (Diane)Harris and Jim L. (Teresa) Harris; many nieces and nephews, including Jamie Feigen (Stephen), Lauren and Chelsea Simons. She was preceded in death by her sister Linda Harris, and her son Jesse Daeschlein who has been waiting for her since April 16, 2016. A memorial service will be held Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, 501 S.
