Obituary of Percy "Perk" A. DuBay

DuBay, Percy A. "Perk" Jr Bay City, Michigan Percy "Perk", age 70, passed away February 17, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region with family by his side. He was born in Bay City to Percy A. Dubay Sr. and Roma Knaub. Percy was married to his loving wife, Barbara (Russell) for 48 years, until her passing in 2013. Percy was a 1965 graduate of TL Handy High School. He served in the US Navy Reserves from 1965 to 1970. Percy retired from General Motors Steering Gear after 30 years of service. Percy also served with the Bay County Sheriff's Department Marine Patrol where he traveled to area schools and taught boating safety. Perk enjoyed boating and race cars, but he especially loved spending time with his family. Percy is survived by his daughter Tammy (Michael L. Sr.) Little; son, Brad A. (Sheila Sikas) DuBay; grandchildren, Karissa (Nathan Hatt) Enszer, and Taylor Enszer; brother, Alan (Carol) Gamburd; sisters, Wendy Frashnay, Lola (Tommy) Grant, Jamie (Fred) Wingard, Barb (Kim) Wright; sister in law, Judy (Keith ) Harris; brother in law, Thomas (Sharon) Russell; many nieces and nephews; and his loving dog, Maggie May. Percy was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; mother & father in law, Leon & Betty LeTourneau; brothers in law, Gerald "Butch" Russell, and Terry Russell. A Celebration of Percy's Life will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 2-5 PM at Castaways, 3940 Boy Scout Rd, Bay City MI. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the family. Arrangements made with Cremation Society of Mid Michigan.
