Obituary of Marianne "Mitzie" Burton

Marianne "Mitzie" Burton Saginaw, MI (Formerly of Grand Ledge, MI) Marianne, "Mitzie", passed away peacefully at her home in Saginaw, MI on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the age of 82. She was born October 4, 1935 in Grand Ledge Michigan to the late Orville and Thelma Eimer. Marianne served her country in the U.S. Navy, retired from Lansing Community College in 1998, and after her retirement, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Burton-Hammond; 5 grandchildren, Gregory M. Burton, Chelsea Hammond, Jamie Burton, Brandon Burton & Bethany Burton; 8 great-grandchildren, Jayden, Cole, Tommy, Aliyanah, Dominic, Jordan, Juan & Jesse; and brothers & sisters Jim, Annie, Mary & Chuck. Marianne was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, LeRoy Burton; son, Gregory L. Burton; brother, Robert Eimer; and son-in-law, Michael Hammond.
