Obituary of Sally Viola (Clampitt) Legue

Legue, Sally Viola (Clampitt) Vassar, Michigan Sally Viola Clampitt Legue, passed away peacefully with family by her side on March 16, 2018. She was born August 22, 1941 in Flint Michigan to the late Eleanor and Loren Clampitt. Sally married the love of her life, Dale Clark Legue on May 9, 1959. Together they began their family having two sons, Wayne (Mary) Legue and Ralph "Corky" (Andrea) Legue, who went on to give them their grandchildren, Heather Legue, Amber Legue, Dillon (Catherine) Legue, Carrie (Jason) Colosky, Ashley (Adam) Love, Cody (Gabreylla) Legue, Allie Legue (Matthew), Jessica Edmonds (Cameron), Shaun Spencer (Alicia), who went on to bless them with 11 great grandchildren. Also left to cherish her memory are her brother Ronald Clampitt and her sister Lois Ford and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Sally was preceded in death by her brother, Arnold Clampitt. God and Family were most important to her. She was a hard worker who enjoyed crocheting, crafting, playing cards and most enjoyed people visiting over a cup of coffee which was always welcome. The family invites you to join them for a Memorial Service on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Vasssar Church of the Nazarene, 3822 W. Saginaw Rd., Vassar, MI 48768. The family will receive visitors at church prior to the service, from 10:00 AM to 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Dale Legue.
