Obituary of June A. Roosa
June Roosa, 97, of Midland, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Stratford Pines. The daughter of the late Hiram Bruce Mackie and Pearl Lillian Patterson, she was born in Bay County, June 1, 1920. She was raised and educated in Saginaw. June was in the U.S. Army. She was employed at The Dow Chemical Co. until her retirement. June enjoyed being with family and friends, quilting, crocheting, knitting and reading.
Surviving are her children, Jacqueline (Richard) Munger, Daniel (Mary) Roosa, Patsy (Delbert) Hickman, Michael Roosa; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of June's life will be conducted at 11 a.m. on March 24, 2018 at Gordonville United Methodist Church. The family will receive guests at the church at 10 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be offered to Gordonville United Methodist Church or families' wishes.
