Obituary of Catherine E. Kris

Kris, Catherine Elizabeth Saginaw, MI Catherine Elizabeth Kris went to sleep peacefully, Thursday, April 5 2018 at Bickford Assisted Living in Saginaw Township at the age of 96. Catherine was born June 18, 1921 in Latrobe, Pennsylvania to Harry and Sarah Ritenour. She married Charles Kris On November 25, 1950 and he predeceased her on March 24, 1998. On March 8, 1939 Catherine dedicated her life to Jehovah God and was baptized and continued as a faithful servant of Jehovah God until her death. She was a member of the Saginaw North congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Catherine loved her grandchildren and talking about her God Jehovah and her hope for the future. Surviving are one son, David and his wife Kathy; three grandchildren, Joshua and his wife Chenaya, Matthew and his wife Nicole, Erin Johnson and her husband Nelson Lee; four great grandsons, Caleb and Calvin Hovey, Josiah and Jaxson Johnson; a nephew, Lew Whitcheck; and three nieces Janice Wence, Margaret Ashenback and Rosie Krstovic. A special thank you to Stefanie Bry and the staff of Bickford Assisted Living for taking such good care of Catherine. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 2pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6025 Shattuck Rd. Saginaw, MI. Brother Brent Gallagher will be officiating.
