Obituary of William J. Kramer
William J. Kramer, age 69, of Alpena, MI, died April 14, 2018 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center Midland. He is survived by: 2 daughters - Mandy (Andrew) Syren of Wyoming, MI and Misty (Don) Kelley of Alpena, MI; 5 grandchildren - Isaac, Elysa, & Eliana Kelley and Emeline & Conlin Syren; brothers Harold and Tom Kramer. He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Palgen Kramer, as well as his sister Darlene (Larry) Johnson.
Bill, known as "BK", served in the Marine Corps and fought for his family and our country in the Vietnam War. He worked for Presque Isle Corporation until retiring in 2008. He was also a life-long "sports nut", being active with multiple community teams and groups, as well as being an encyclopedia of sports trivia.
As were his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 5/27/18 at New Life Christian Fellowship in Alpena, MI. Service will be at 2:30 pm with visitation from 1:30 until the time of the service. To sign online guestbook visit www.cremationsocietymidmi.com.
