Obituary of Addie Mae Bennett

Bennett, Addie Mae Birch Run, MI Mrs. Bennett, age 80 passed away April 13 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Addie was born in Alabama on 12-29-37. She was the daughter of the late Claude and Blanche Underwood. Addie was one of six children. Addie was a member of the Mt. Morris Church of Christ. She worked for the Plymouth Schools, where she retired from. Addie loved to cook and loved having big family meals and BBQs-which she had often. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Myrtle Beach. She loved the ocean. She enjoyed playing cards weekly. Most of all she enjoyed a house full of family. Addie was a loving, kind-hearted woman who would do anything she possibly could for family, friends and even strangers. Mrs. Bennett is survived by her husband Charles Bennett of 47 years, (daughter)Vickie Bentley and husband Randy,(son)Gary Tyree and wife Diane,(daughter)Terry Davis and husband Steven,(daughter)Kim Bryant and husband Dan,(daughter)Shannon Fries,10 grandchildren,15 great grandchildren,1 great great grandchild, brother Billy Underwood, nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held on Saturday April 21 2018 at the Mt. Morris Church of Christ 1262 South St. Mt. Morris MI 48458. Visiting will be 11am until 12pm. Service will be at 12pm followed by a dinner. Officiating the memorial will be Jim Watson (Minister) and Garfield Cooper(Elder).
