Obituary of Dorsey C. Humphrey

Humphrey, Dorsey C. St. Louis, Michigan Dorsey Clay Humphrey age 87, of St. Louis passed away April 22, 2018 He was born in Seth, West Virginia on September 7, 1930 the son of William Clay and Leatha Addie (Mays) Humphrey. On June 27, 1987 he married Leone (Corneilus) Watters. He worked at the St. Louis Chemical plant for 30 years and at Fisher Body in Lansing for 12 years. He served in the United States Army in the Korean War. He loved God and fishing, his children and his little dog Cheyanne. Dorsey is survived by his wife, Leone; one daughter Johanna Humphrey, two step-daughters, Kim (Mike) Fabus of Elsie, LeAnn Parker of New Lothrop, a step-son Douglas Watters of Montana, four grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Dave and Scott Humphrey; two daughters, Theresa and Patricia Humphrey; two brothers James and Jack Humphrey, two sisters Lena Thompson and Hilma Bott, and step-son Daniel Watters. A memorial will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church 935 N. Pine River in Ithaca. The family is being served by The Cremation Society of Mid–Michigan.
