Obituary of James "Jim" Robert Burch

Burch, James Robert "Jim" Midland, MI James Robert Burch "Jim" joined his daughter Cathy on April 28, 2018 at the age of 82. Jim served in the Army and was then employed as a grounds keeper at Midland Public Schools for 27 years until his retirement in 1991. He enjoyed dune buggies, car racing, camping, country music, the casino and anything that included his family. Jim is survived and lovingly remembered by Yvonne Edna Burch "Bonnie", his caring wife of 59 years; his sons, Brian (Lori) Burch, Doug (Susan) Burch; and son-in-law, Donald Mason. His love and storytelling will be greatly missed by his 9 grandchildren; Angie, Robert, Ryan, Micky, Joshua, Jennifer, Trey, Dakota and Logan; 24 great grandchildren; his cousin, Jack (Hilda) Bradley; and sisters-in-law, Jean (Bernard) Benchley and Margret Reger. Jim was predeceased by his parents Jim and Grace Burch; grandmother, Clara Bardley; daughter, Cathy Sue Mason; and family friend, Orval Bunting. A Memorial Service is being planned for August 5, 2018. Completed arrangements will be announced at a later date.
