Obituary of Sharon A. Allen

Allen, Sharon Mio, MI Sharon, age 76, passed away May 4, 2018 following an 11 year battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born August 5, 1941 in Detroit Michigan to the late A.T. and Marjorie Ray. She lived in the New Orleans area when she was young, and for many years afterward, in the Goodrich Michigan area where she graduated 3rd in her class from Goodrich High School. She and her husband Frank W. Allen moved to the Mio area in 1994 where they attended the Tripoint Church of God since 1999. She served the Lord in many ways, on the Missionary Committee, His Love Family Services, and served on the Friends of the Library where she delivered books and magazines to the sick and elderly. Her favorite hobbies were horses, gardening, and serving God, and her favorite hymn was "The Old Rugged Cross". She will be greatly missed by loved ones and friends. She is survived by her husband, Frank W. Allen; five children, Mark, Marie, Marcia, Donna, and Diane; two step-children, Jennifer and Geogetta; four grandchildren, Bryan, Jordan, Jagger, & Hadley; two step-grandchildren, Travis and Megan. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Tripoint Church of God, 831 W. Miller Rd., Mio Michigan.
