Obituary of Allen Rudy Gillespie

Gillespie, Allen Rudy Elsie, MI Allen, age 68, passed away Wednesday May 9, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. Allen was born May 23, 1949 in St Johns MI to the late Phillip and Annie Gillespie. He married Mary Ann Villarreal on March 11, 1967. Al loved to shoot pool and golf with his longtime friends, but most of all he loved to be around a bonfire with his children and grandchildren! Allen is a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Motor Wheel Corporation. He is survived by wife Mary Gillespie of Elsie, MI; daughter, Carrie Ann Chapko (Charles Jr.) of St Johns MI; son, Todd Gillespie (Ruth) of Elsie MI; grandchildren, Keith Allen and Tyler Daniel Gillespie, Charles Joseph III and Christian Allen Chapko; brothers, Kerry Gillespie (Gloria) of Ashley MI and Glenn Gillespie of Honor MI; many nieces and nephews; and his quad riding pooch ' Baby Girl'. He was preceded in death by his brother Ronbo and sister in law Lori Gillespie. A Memorial Service and Luncheon will be held from 11 AM – 3 PM, Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Knights of Columbus, 1108 Old U.S. 27, St. John's MI.
