Obituary of Lena L. Teller

Teller, Lena L Bad Axe, MI (formerly of Cass City, MI) Lena, age 81, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Huron County Medical Care Facility. Lena was born on October 6, 1936, to the late Sadie and Lenard Randall. Lena was a member of the Novesta Church of Christ and the Order of the Eastern Star. Lena enjoyed cooking, gardening, joking, and loved playing Bingo. Lena had a passion for cooking which allowed her to make a career as a cook at Hills & Dales General Hospital for many years, before retiring. Lena survived by her five daughters. Sandi (Steve) Wright of Cass City, Linda Brooks of Gaylord, Teresa Draper of Cass City, Susie (Rob) Hartwick of Holland, and Sonya Teller of Cass City; two sisters, Donna (Doug) Rieck of Caro, Leona (Bob) Koppelberger of Ithaca; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lena was preceded in death by two grandsons, Andrew Teller and Kyle Hodder. Lena's family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Kahn and the entire staff at the Huron County Medical Care Facility and Compassus Hospice for taking such wonderful care of her for the past 4 years. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, May 14, 2018, at Novesta Church of Christ, 2896 N. Cemetery Rd., Cass City, MI. Brad Speirs will officiate. The family will receive friends and family at the church prior to the service from 9 A.M. – 12 P.M.
