Obituary of Maxine Lois Moore

Moore, Maxine Lois Caro, MI Maxine, age 78, returned to her heavenly home on May 9, 2018 after a valiant battle with a long illness. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace. Maxine was blessed with a large and loving family. She was married to her best friend and love of her life, George Moore for 56 years. Maxine was a loving mother to her own children and many others through the foster care system. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her creator. Maxine is survived by her husband, George; daughters, Amy Greaves, Christine Anderson, Debi George, and Heather Henley; sons Robert Moore and Paul Moore; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Virginia Phillips and nephew Harold Moore. Maxine will be cremated with a future memorial service to be planned at Dayton Center Church in Silverwood. The family gratefully declines flowers and donations, but prayers, condolences and memories are gladly accepted.
