Bonita Gabor
11/28/1948- 5/10/2018
After a short battle with liver cancer,In the early morning of Thursday May 10, 2018 the lord saw fit to take our dear aunt, Bonita Gabor home. A loving Soul, Bonnie was a pillar both in her family but also in the lives of all that knew and loved her. She was a caretaker all of her life, she loved animals and children were especially near and dear to her heart. Bonnie was Born November 28, 1948 to Mike and Leona (Maxine) Gabor, the youngest of two girls. She attended St. Stephens catholic School and was a life long member of the catholic faith. After high school she went on to work as a ward clerk for Martin Luther Nursing Home for over 30 years. She is predeceased by her Parents Michael F. Gabor and Leona Maxine (Campeau) Gabor. Surviving are her sister Barbara Winchell, Her nieces and nephews Mary (Tim) Rivard, Leah (Joel) Horn, Michael Winchell, Lisa (Brian) Girardin, and several great nieces and nephews. Also survivning Bonnie are her Great Niece and Family Christina (Jason) Mcgregor, and there children Ashlyn, Morgan and Jason Jr. Bonnie lived with Christina and Jason after retirement for the last twelve years and was very close to the children. We have lost a wonderful woman and heaven gained a beautiful angel. Bonnie never let life get her down she would find a blessing in even the bleakest of days. A true comforter, animal lover and caregiver. She may not have had children of her own but she had a hand in raising almost every child in her family. A loss surely felt throughout , as we are saying goodbye to a staple in our family. She will forever be in our hearts and though we may not understand the why, she is free. Glory has come and she is home. We will never find words fitting enough to express the grief we are feeling. We love you so much aunt Bonnie!!! Gone but never forgotten.
