I believe she was my mother who put me up for adoption in 1958. I base this from DNA results from Ancestry.com. I knew her last name, not her first.

Mae was a special lady who impacted my life in so many ways. Mae Gegauff was my mother-in-law and friend, she shared her love of family, cooking, reading, history & gardening with me. She introduced me to Julia Child & the writing of MFK Fisher among many others. She was kind & caring and always made me want to be a better person. Though her life wasn't always easy or the way she would have chosen, she found the positive in it. Among her pleasures in life was writing letters, gardening & taking care of the many cats who found a loving home with her. I will miss her. Thank you to her nieces Cathy Kube & Lynda Coyer for all their loving care.:heart:

Sorry to hear of Mae's passing...I always enjoyed our visits and keeping in touch with her. She was my Aunt Marylyn's godmother and a cousin to me through my grandmother's adoption into the Sebewaing Schulz family. She will be missed. Prayers for her family....especially her faithful nieces, Kathy and Linda. Love, Anita Mueller
