Obituary of Cheryl D. Sproull

Sproull, Cheryl Dianne Martin Saginaw, Michigan September 27, 1943 – September 16, 2018 Beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, Cheryl Dianne Sproull, passed away peacefully September 16, 2018 surrounded by her family. Cherie was born in Detroit, Michigan, September 27, 1943 to Donald and Maisie Martin. She was the older, loving sister of Wendie A Weber. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1961, where she met and married the love of her life, Lanny D Sproull, of Saginaw May 16th, 1964. She is survived by her husband Lanny, Her three children Scott (Kim) Sproull, Lori (Todd) Schmidt, Jill Sproull. Grandchildren Kyle Sproull, Daniel (Rachael) Sproull, Chloe Schmidt, Jake Schmidt. She also left behind many others who cared for her. Nieces and a Nephew- Shelly Norris, Kristin Weber and Matt Sproull. Brother's in Laws, Buck Sproull, Colin Weber and sister in law Joice Graft Sproull, trusted friend Sue Bourcier. Besides surviving a liver transplant 27 years ago and countless struggles with her health, it never affected her resilience and smile. She handled everything that came her way with Grace and dignity. She spent several years volunteering for Hospice were she was volunteer of the year in 1995. She was a member of the Saginaw Culture Club, 500 Club and Bridge Club. She enjoyed knitting, "she would knit hats for preemies", crafting, cards, cooking reading, shopping, traveling and attending her grand children's events. She was a faithful and dedicated member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Saginaw. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday October 26th at 1:00 o'clock at Bethany Lutheran Church, 5051 McCarty Road, Saginaw, MI 48603. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am.
