Obituary of James "Jim" A. Buzzell

James "Jim" A. Buzzell Jim went home to be with his savior on October 31, 2018. He was born and raised on the family farm in Gladwin County on July 24, 1932 to the late Hugh Buzzell and Alma (Reinhardt). He married Dorothy M. King on January 30, 1953 at the Gladwin Baptist Church, and she survives him. Surviving besides his wife of 65 years, are his children, Stanley and Edna (Bodnar) Buzzell; Noreen and Mike Vogel; Glenda and Jon Potter; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; 12 brothers and sisters. He was predeceased by a great-granddaughter, Madeleine; parents, Hugh and Alma; sisters, Ruby, Dora, Doris; and brother Floyd. He was a corporal in the Army in the 519th Honor Battery. He retired from Dow. Loved to garden and have his hands in the earth. He was a deacon in the Gladwin Baptist Church for many years and a member of the Grace Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church, 115 Fraser St., Coleman, MI 48618. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 – 11 AM.
