Obituary of Rick E. Paquette

Paquette, Rick E. Birch Run, MI Paquette, Rick E. , known to friends as Harley Cowboy, passed away on November 5, 2018 at the age of 63. Rick was born on April 14, 1955 at Hurley Medical Center to Lavern Paquette and Norma Jean (Brown) Smith. He was raised in Otisville, MI as the oldest of 7 siblings. He graduated from Lakeville High School in 1973; served his country during the Vietnam War; and was retired from ACC/GM where he worked as a truck driver. He was an avid motorcycle rider and loved his Harley's. He was a proud Democrat and encouraged everyone, regardless of political affiliation, to vote. More than anything he loved being "Papa" to his granddaughter Airabella. He is survived by his son Ricke and his wife Rebecca; granddaughter, Airabella; soon to arrive grandson Richard; step-father, John A. Smith II; siblings, Michael Paquette, James Paquette, Andre Paquette, Merry Smith and John A. Smith III; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
