Obituary of Robert "Bob" McIntosh

McIntosh, Robert G. Cass City, MI Robert "Bob" G. McIntosh, age 74, of Cass City passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 at United Hospice Service in Marlette, MI. Bob was born September 20, 1944 in Pontiac, MI to the late Jim and Normaleen (Brown) McIntosh. He married Shirley Root on February 25, 1967. Bob served in the United States Army for 2 years. He worked at United Parcel Service and retired in 1998 after 30 years of service. After retiring from UPS he worked for Robert Bliss mowing lawns. Bob was a very loving husband, son, father, grandfather and a friend to all. Bob enjoyed every season of the year as long as he was hunting, fishing or watching his grandchildren play sports. Bob is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley McIntosh; one daughter, Debra Abell; two grandchildren, Zachary Abell and Shelby Abell; and brother, Dale (Lynda) McIntosh. He was preceded in death by his father James McIntosh, his mother Normaleen McIntosh and his son-in-law Brian C. Abell. Per Bob's wishes, no service is planned.
