Obituary of Helen Marie Stone

Helen Marie Stone, (resident at The Villa of Rose City, Michigan) went home to be with the Lord November 16, 2018 from a series of health issues. Helen was born in Lupton, Michigan on April 7, 1933 to the late Fred and Jesse LaVack. She loved spending time with friends, playing cards, and Bingo. Her love of cooking always provided her with an excuse to cook for her family and friends. Helen is survived by two sons: Larry (Sandra) Stone and Mark (Kristin) Stone; one daughter, Lisa (Kirk) Auernhamer; five grandchildren, Crystal Stone, Carl Beckman, Michael and Ryan Auernhamer, and Summer Stone; one great grandson, Alex King; numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by; three brothers & sister-in-law, Dewey (Edna), Valmore and Ronald LaVack; three sisters & brothers-in-law Jean (Jerry) Webb, Florence (Donald) Dare and Arlene (Pete) Buck; one grandson, Nathan Stone; and nephews, Doug, Leon & George Webb, David & Michael LaVack, and Randy Buck. To honor Helen's wishes, cremation has taken place. A ceremony will take place at a later date. Helen's family wishes to thank the staff of The Villa in Rose City for the care that was given to her over the past three months.
