Obituary of Joyce A. Zagata

Zagata, Joyce Ann Pinconning, Michigan Mrs. Zagata passed peacefully surrounded by family on November 20, 2018. Joyce was born in Saginaw, Michigan on February 19, 1945 to the late Stanley and Emma Zariski. She loved going for walks in Pinconning Park, traveling to Northern Michigan and playing the slots at the casino. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joyce is survived by her husband of 56 years, Larry Zagata Sr.; children Cindy (Dave) Hagan of Birch Run, Larry (Kristy) Zagata of Kawkawlin, and Jennifer (Jay) Morast of Midland; 6 grandchildren, David (Jen) Hagan, Joshua Hagan, Emily Zagata, Lauren Zagata, Joey Morast, Jesse Morast; 2 Great grandchildren, Jack Hagan and Benjamin Hagan. Joyce was preceded in death by brothers Donald Zariski, Bob Zariski and sister Betty Pryor (Zariski). To honor Joyce's wishes, cremation has taken place and her ashes will be received by immediate family. A memorial service will be planned for a later time.
