Obituary of Judith Lee Benn (Owens)

Judith Lee (Owens) Benn passed away quietly on Friday November 30, 2018 while in the care of Hospice at Medilodge of Cass City. She was an avid reader and enjoyed making crafts. Though the years she was active in the church, including teaching religious education classes. She was also very active in the Tuscola County 4H programs. She also enjoyed working on Genealogy for her family and others. She is survived by her brother, William Owens of Unionville. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Benn in 2002; her parents, Albert Owens and Edna (Verellen) Owens; and brother, Lewis Owens. The family would like to thank the entire Staff of Medilodge of Cass City and of Compassus Hospice of Cass City for their wonderful care and compassion, as well as her caregivers & special friends, Sharon Allen & nephew Roy Summerfield for their care and love. In lieu of flowers, donations or gifts to be given to the Tuscola County 4H Cloverbuds or the parish of St. Christopher of Caro, MI. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at St. Christopher in Caro with Fr. Dobosz officiating.
