Obituary of Robert W. Stressman

Stressman, Robert W. Standish, Michigan Robert W. Stressman, age 78 of Standish, entered eternal peace on December 13, 2018 at home with his family by his side. Robert "Bob" was born February 15, 1940 to the late George and Olive (Gordon) Stressman. Bob married his loving wife of 57 years, Lillian G. Wright and were blessed with 3 children. He is a retiree from Saginaw Steering Gear. He loved spending time with his family and his dogs. He liked hunting, camping, fishing, bowling, whistling, singing and dancing around the house to his favorite old country western songs. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Stressman; son, Jeffrey Stressman; daughter, Deanne (Robert) LaLonde; son, Stephen (Stephanie) Stressman; ten grandchildren: Jeffrey (Malorie) Stressman, Jeremy (Jessica) LaLonde, Joseph LaLonde, Jillian (Raymond) Atherton, Brittney Dobson, Brandon (Nayareth) Stressman, Blake, Caden, Mason, and Zachary Stressman; six great-grandchildren: Braylynn, Jackson, Jason, Paige, Brendon, Braedyn; four siblings, his twin brother William Stressman, brother, Theodore Stressman, sisters, June Reinhardt and Susan (Lionel) Girardin; brother-in-law, Gary (Barbara) Wright; sister-in-law, Patricia (Dwayne) Krumm; and twenty nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Mary (Gilbert) Luberda; brother-in-law, William Reinhardt; great niece, Amanda LaBean; his mother and father-in-law, Charles and Minnie (Reed) Wright; and brother-in-law, Charles Jr. (Carol) Wright. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Community of Christ Church, 429 Mathews Street,Tawas City, MI where the couple were married. Visitation will take place at the church prior to the service beginning at 12:00 pm.
