Mr. Cook, age 66, passed away suddenly on December 23rd, 2018. He was born on October 29th, 1952 to the late Gerald Cook and Shirley O'Shaughnessy in Detroit Michigan. He proudly served in the U.S Navy. He was a member of The Shepard's Chapel and the NRA.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, his children, grandchildren and his beloved dogs Buster and Buddy.
He is survived by: his wife of 30 years Viola, his children; Michael Bashford, Shirley Hutt, Susan (Russell) Keim, Matthew (Courtney) Sage and Richard (Heather) Sage. Also surviving are his grandchildren; Ashlee, Joshua, Allison, Nathan, Desiree, Callie, Kennedy, Hayden, Blaken and Avery, great grandchildren; Brayden, Rowan and Aiden, his siblings; Elise (Earl) Kent, Tracy (Ralph) Furton, Dean (Fay) Cook and Megan (Todd) Wendt. He was predeceased by: His brother Lon Cook.
A memorial service and military honors will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday January 18th 2019 at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
