Obituary of Mary Emma Turton

Turton(Buriff), Mary Emma Alma, Michigan Mary Emma, age 89, passed Friday December 28, 2018 at Michigan Masonic Pathways in Alma, Michigan. Mary was born September 25, 1929 in Manchester, Ohio to the late Gilbert and Clarissa Buriff. They later moved to Centerville, Ohio. She married Wayne Edwin Turton on September 11, 1948. Mary was a member of Farmington Chapter #239 Order of the Eastern Star where she is a Past Worthy Matron, and a dual member of the Alma Chapter #43 Order of the Eastern Star. Mary is survived by her husband Wayne and their 5 children: Thomas Wayne Turton (Cheryl) of Naples, Florida, David Bryan Turton (Kathy) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Dale Allen Turton (Emma) of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Carol Jane Wolf (Daniel) of Wixom, Michigan, and Patricia Ann Mannion (Robert Michael) of Richmond, Virginia. Also survived by fifteen grandchildren: Bryan Turton, Jason Turton, Jae Turton , Alex Turton (Bryn), Benjamin Turton, Michael Turton, Christina Norris (Dale), Nathan Turton, Clarissa Turton, Kaitlyn Turton, Garrett Mannion, Adam Turton, Jenna Mannion, Emma Turton and Amber Mannion and one great-grandchild, Madeline Norris, a brother and 2 sisters; John Buriff of Washington, Sally (Buriff) McCullough of Florida and Jane (Buriff) Yeazel of Indiana. She was preceded in death by a brother George Buriff.
