Obituary of Paul H. Pankey

Pankey, Paul H. Saginaw, Michigan Paul passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 6, 2019 at the age of 63. He was born in Saginaw Michigan on June 18, 1955 to Marilyn M. (Dinse) Pankey and the late Charles H. Pankey. Paul worked for Mersen USA Bay City for 15 Years as a Coatings Process Operator and then at Bigard Drilling and DI Industries for 10 years as a Driller and Derrick-hand. He also worked at Kroger for 18 years where he met the love of his life, Carey Graves. They were married April 11, 1974 and she survives him. Paul was a handyman, some would call him a jack of all trades, but there really wasn't anything Paul couldn't do. He loved everything about the outdoors like hunting and fishing, however spending time with his family and his dogs Button and Divo were what enjoyed most of all. He is survived by his wife Carey Lynn Pankey; two children, Charles E. Pankey of Saginaw and his companion, Sophia M. Jimenez of Brant, Ilene N. Pankey of Saginaw; five grandchildren, Crysta A. N. Pankey of Saginaw, Adalyn Raye Clark-Pankey and Alayna Cadence Clark-Pankey of Huron County, Xavier B. Jimenez of Brant, Samantha G. Krease of Saginaw; a brother, Dennis L. (Maria) Pankey of Nevada; his close friends, Ralph (Brenda) Klepinger and family, Jesus (Maria) Banda and the entire Banda family; many brothers and sisters- in-law; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and neighbors. At Paul's request no services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
