Obituary of Christopher Jay Powers

Powers, Christopher Jay Bay City, MI Christopher, age 61 years old passed away peacefully January 9, 2019 after a 2 year battle with cancer. Chris was a lifelong resident of Bay City Michigan and had a passion for gardening. He was a proud member of the Van Buren Street Community Garden. He is survived by two brothers Robert (Debbie) Powers of Tuscan, Arizona, Jeremy (Lori) Powers of Bay City, Michigan; two sisters, Pamela Masar of Nashville, Tennessee, and Nancy Powers of Bay City, Michigan; and a special niece, Erin (Joel) Ormsby of Battle Creek, Michigan. Chris was predeceased by his parents Robert R. and Isla May Powers and a sister Lola Powers. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service for family will be held at a later date.
