Maxine passed away January 22, 2019 at the age of 93. She was born on November 20, 1925 in Copemish Michigan to the late Fred and Helena (Bargerstock) Milliron. She worked as a school secretary at Orchard Lake St. Mary's and Brother Rice High School. She later served as the Benzonia Township Clerk, Beulah Village Clerk, and on the Beulah Village Counsel for many years. Maxine was married to the love of her life, Donovon, celebrating 70 years of marriage prior to his death November 25, 2016.
Maxine is survived by her daughter, Janie (David) LaRue of Bay City; a grandson, Anthony (Amy) Cole; great-grandson, Andrew Cole; brothers, Fred (Betty) Milliron Jr. of Beulah, David (Sherry) Milliron of Traverse City; sister-in-law, Sherril Parkinson-Milliron of Hale; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Jim, Phyllis, Shirley, Geraldine, Velma, Diane, and William.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM, February 16, 2019 at Eden Bible Church, 7991 Worden Road, Beulah Michigan. Pastors Dan Ingersol and Caleb Simmerson will officiate. A private interment will take place at Benzonia Cemetery.
