Obituary of Earl Leroy Cole

Cole, Jr., Earl Leroy Bay City, Michigan Earl passed away unexpectedly December 19, 2018. He was born September 2, 1957 in Ludington, Michigan. Among his many accomplishments, he served as a Master-At-Arms in the United States Navy while stationed at the Great Lakes Naval Academy in Great Lakes, Illinois. Earl is best remembered for his pranks, jokes, and his infectious laugh. He leaves behind 6 children and 13 grandchildren, Jeremy Marquardt (Chloe, Bella, Madelyn, and Layla), Amy Payne (Destiny, Dezmen, and Dezirae), Mindy Krantz (Vivian), Eric Cole (m. Ann Marie), Alicia Stone (m, Ted, JR, Corrianna) Ricky Rowe; his mother, Carmine Killey; and 2 sisters, Linda Cole and Shelly (Scott) Wellnitz. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Leroy Cole; a sister, Laurie Lynn Bartlett; and a grandson, John Christopher Walker. Earl's family will be hosting a Celebration of Life from 12 Noon – 4 PM, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the First Congregational Church, 900 Sixth St., Bay City MI. Friends and family are invited to Bishop's Inn, 804 S. Farragut Street, Bay City. Earl always said that when he passed from this world, he wanted those he left behind to have a party for him.
