Obituary of Maureen J. Bouchey

Bouchey, Maureen J. Midland, MI Our beloved Maureen passed away due to a sudden illness on January 23, 2019 at the age of 74. She was born in Saginaw, MI on January 30, 1944 to the late Walter and Mary (Golz) Proux. Her family was everything to her and she cherished spending time with them above all. She was a natural caregiver and her giving heart was evident in the many special relationships she so naturally formed with others everywhere she went. She often brightened the days of others by volunteering at senior centers. She will be remembered with love by her spouse, Jim Bouchey of Midland; two children, Keith (Tracy) Cornacchia of Lake Orion and Krista (Dave) Cherniawsky of Novi; four grandchildren, Andrew Cornacchia, Anthony Cornacchia, Jessica Cherniawsky, Ashley Cherniawsky; great-grandson, Brayden; four siblings, Robert (Dorothy) Proux of Beaverton, George (Sophie) Proux of Saginaw, Marcy Pegley of Midland, and Louanne Klonowski of Beaverton; and has many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Marie Poulos; and two brothers, Walter Proux and Raymond "Butch" Proux. A Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Parish in Midland on February 5, 2019. Guests may arrive as early as 10:00 A.M. to visit with family, and the mass will begin at 11:00 A.M. A luncheon at the church will immediately follow the Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Charity of Donor's Choice.
