Obituary of Mary A. Degg

Mary A. Degg, age 88, passed away January 27, 2019. Mary was born in Amherst Massachusetts to the late Bert & Mary Lovett on October 7, 1930. On September 23, 1950, Mary married Robert M. Degg. Mary retired from General Motors UAW # 699 in 1990. She loved to fish, play cards, listen and dance to polka music, and spend time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Linda (Robert) Streeter and Sandra (Gary) Lewandowski; grandchildren, Dena Lewandowski, Robert (Mary) Streeter II, Haley (Dennis) Buchanan, CJ Degg, and Lindsay Degg; great-grandchildren, Cody, Landin, Haille, Jadeyn, Emily, Crystal Lynn, Trenton; brother, William Lovett; many nieces and nephews; godchildren; and a few special friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; son, Bobby; granddaughter, Kristy; grandson, Jason; and many brothers and sisters. At Mary's request, cremation has taken place. A graveside service is planned for a later date. Mary's family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Brian's House for the wonderful and compassionate care given to Mary's.
