Anthony "Tony" Bowers

Obituary of Anthony "Tony" Ray Bowers

Anthony "Tony" Ray Bowers, age 51, of Caseville, passed away at home in his sleep on January 31, 2019. Tony was born on August 29, 1967 in Harbor Beach, to Jerry Michael Bowers and Paulette (LaFontaine) Cummins. He worked in the Big Industrial Construction field for many years, and enjoyed being able to say he helped build quite a few businesses in the thumb. Tony enjoyed the outdoors. He loved fishing, and ice fishing was his favorite pastime. He passed on his love of the outdoors and fishing to his children who have passed it down to their children. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. His only regret in life was that he didn't have more time. Tony liked to joke around with everyone, and it made him happy that he could make people smile, laugh, and be happy also. He will truly be missed by family, friends, and acquaintances. Tony got together with his high school crush on March 2013, and were married November 14, 2018. Tony is survived by his wife, Robin; children, Anthony Bowers Jr., TJ Bowers, and Brittany Bowers; stepchildren, Joy Perry, Sam Robinson, James Robinson, Ashley McGraw-Korthals, and Keegan Battisti; seven grandchildren, Marshall, Ruby, Vincent, baby on the way, Jordan, Jackson, and Jaida. A Celebration of Life will be held at the VFW Hall in Pigeon, on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at 1 p.m. for family, 2 p.m. for friends and acquaintances with a luncheon.
