Obituary of Ellen L. Adams

Adams, Ellen L. Bay City, MI Ellen, age 84, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019. She was born in Omaha Nebraska on June 13, 1934 to George and Ona Spitler. She was very active in her church, Grace Church, in Bay City, where she spent countless hours helping in the kitchen and dining room and she sang in the choir with her friends. She was a long time member of the Bay Chorale - Bay City, Michigan choir, with whom she traveled and sang in locations around the world. Ellen was a generous person who helped many in need with here time and care. She was always there for her family and participated in every family event. She is loved dearly by all and will be missed. She is survived by two of her daughters, Colleen Bleshenski and Teresa Adams, as well as grandchildren, Mike Garcia (and wife Justine Garcia, great-grandchildren, Camden and Maddy), Rachael Kaiponen (and husband Ryan Kaiponen), Kelsey Bleshenski, and Jacob Bleshenski. She had another daughter, Sandy, who passed away many years ago. Her husband Curt passed away recently. She was very active in her church, Grace Church, in Bay City, where she spent countless hours helping in the kitchen and dining room and she sang in the choir with her friends. A Memorial Service with Luncheon to follow, will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11 A.M. at Grace United Methodist Church, 4267 Two Mile Road, Bay City MI.
