Obituary of Clarence J. Wagner

Wagner, Clarence J. Lewiston, Michigan (formerly of Bay City) Mr. Wagner, age 93, died Tuesday February 26, 2019. Clarence was born in Bay City, Michigan on August 6, 1925 to the late John and Marie (Shorkey) Wagner. Clarence was a retired truck driver for Sargent Sands. He was devoted in his Catholic faith and served for many years as an usher at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his family. Mr. Wagner is survived by his 3 children, Clarence "Stormy" (Colleen) Wagner of Bay City, John Wagner of Lewiston, and Merrie Schalk of Bay City. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Amey, Gary, Jennie, Doug; and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Jennie; daughter, Cyndi Wagner; 2 grandsons, Jeff Crane, Frank Schalk; his brother, Nelson; and 4 sisters, Jerry, Bernice, Beatrice and Eleanor. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, March 1, 2019 at St. Catherine of Siena Parish- St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church, 2956 E. North Union Road, Bay City, Michigan.
