Obituary of Marsha J. (Stanlake) Parnicky

Parnicky, Marsha Jean (Stanlake) East Tawas, MI Marsha passed away February 28, 2019 at the age of 81, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 1, 1937 in Almont, MI to the late Albert and Jennie (Douglas) Stanlake. She married Stephen John Parnicky, Jr. on July 9, 1955. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was retired from the Iosco County Medical Care Facility where she had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed camping in Grand Marais with her husband and the many dear friends they had made throughout the years; quilting, reading, sewing, and crocheting; but above all, loved spending time with her family reminiscing and picnicking at Higgins Lake. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Steve; children, Linda M. (Darryl) Metzger, Stephen J. (Jan) Parnicky, III, Carol A. (Richard) LaCalle, Micheal P. (Cindy) Parnicky, Kimberly S. (Troy) Donn, Suzanna I. (Perry) Daigle, Janet K. Martin, Nancy J. (Todd) Huebel, John D. (Alissa) Parnicky; 27 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Rose (Jim) Mapletoft; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Eugene, Paul, and Sandra; nephews, Albert and Thomas; and a great-great-granddaughter, Lettie Jean.
