Obituary of Roberta "Bobbie" J. Shook

Roberta Shook 6-22-52 - 3-12-19 Bobbie passed away on 3-12-19 at her residence. She fought a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born on 6-22-52 to the late Alfred and Jeanne (Kent) Noyes Bobbie graduated from Beaverton High School. She was a waitress for a few years and she enjoyed her customers. She also worked for General Motors and later worked with Midland Mental Health. This was definitely her favorite job. She went above and beyond for her clients. She was loved by all. Bobbie married Glen Shook on 12-12-92. They shared many happy years together. They enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, fireworks and beautiful sunsets. Glen preceded her in death on 2-5-12. She is survived by her children, Jeanne (Brian) Anderson of VA, Ken (Lisa) Tester of Midland, Bryan (Shaniece) Searson of VA, Step-children, Robert (Crystal) Shook, Amy Wilson of Midland and Jay (Lynette) Shook of Lansing. She is also survived by her sisters Diana Noyes of Midland and Mary (Wayne) Rheaume of Albright Shores, several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Bobbie's life will be held on Monday March 18, 2019 at the Church of Daniel's Band 525 Dopp Rd. Midland, The Rev. Douglas L. Tester will be officiating. Fellowship with family will begin at 10 am until the time of service at 11 am. Per Bobbie's wishes cremation has taken place under the care of Cremation Society of Mid-Michigan.
