Valerie Jean, age 67, entered into eternal rest on Friday March 22, 2019. Valerie was born in Detroit on May 5, 1951 to the late Allen and Dolores (Derrick) Newman. She is the beloved wife of William Leitch Sr., dear mother of Sarah Chirico of Conyers, Georgia, James McClure of Belleville, Michigan, Torrey McClure of Hoven, South Dakota, stepmother to William Leitch Jr. of Willowbrook, Illinois, Julie Stovel of Howell, Michigan and Laurie Leitch of Brighton, Michigan. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, Sarah, Katheryn, Benjamin, Nathen, Leah, Justin, Jordon, Kelly and Hans, 2 great grandchildren Jessy and Jayden, dear sister of Scott Newman of Walled Lake, Michigan and Daniel Newman of Everett, Washington.
