Obituary of Mary Lou King

On March 26, 2019, Mary Lou King passed away at the Tony & Trish House at the age of 78. She was born on September 13, 1941. Mary Lou King (Hoyle) was the daughter of Terrell and Luella Hoyle (Lambert) of Linwood, MI. Left behind to cherish her memories is her husband Robert "Lee" King of Linwood, MI, as well as her 2 (two) sons: Terrell "Terry" King (Fiancé – Aaron Rodenbo) of Linwood, MI and Kevin King (Wife – Jolie King) of Kingsley, MI, as well as her 4 (four) grandchildren: Jacob King; Remmi King; Jacie King; and Lexie King. In addition, she is survived by her brother Roger Hoyle (Wife – Denise Hoyle) of North Port, FL, his son Courtney Cummings (Wife – Nena Hoyle), their children Lincoln Cummings and Lennon Cummings; and sister Barbara Leach (Husband – Daniel Leach) of Linwood, MI; her niece, Branda Smith (Husband – Nathan Smith) and their children Blake Smith and Taylor Smith; niece, Danielle Pharis (Husband – Jesse Pharis), their child Waylon Pharis; and her nephew, David Leach (Wife – Katie Leach). No one can doubt that Mary Lou loved her dogs. Throughout the years, Mary Lou adopted countless dogs that she loved and cared for. In addition, Mary Lou and her husband, volunteered countless hours at Cinderella Pet Rescue of Mission, TX, where they also were "Winter Texans." Moreover, Mary Lou enjoyed to travel throughout the United States with her husband in their motor home. During their time together, they visited 49 of the 50 United States. In addition, Mary Lou was an avid artist creating some exquisite paintings, portraits and drawings. Finally, Mary Lou loved her friends and family. Lee and Mary Lou were often referred to as "The Number One Fans" at many of their grandchildren, niece and nephew's sporting events. In addition, when Lee and Mary Lou would attend family events, many people commented that it turned into a "dog park," given the number of dogs that Mary Lou adopted and loved. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable contributions be made to either of the following: (1) Cinderella Pet Rescue, P.O. Box 533, Penitas, TX 78576 or (2) Tony & Trisch House, P.O. Box 125, Auburn, MI 48611. In respecting Mary Lou's wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
