Obituary of Jacob Arthur Younk
Jacob Arthur Younk Jr, age 39, of Midland, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday April 14, 2019. Jacob was born to Veronica Sue (Adair) and Jacob Arthur Younk Sr. on November 13, 1979. Jacob married the love of his life Jamie Jo (Ross) Younk on August 21, 2016.
Jacob enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading, and traveling. He tolerated camping because his family loved it. His favorite vacation spot was Ludington, and enjoyed lying on the beach and being in the water anywhere on Lake Michigan. He loved playing cards and many different games which enabled him to meet a great group of friends. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, love for his family, love for his dog Fran, tolerance of his dog Chewy, and his GIANT hugs.
Jacob is survived by his wife Jamie; daughters, Melody and Harmony Musser; parents, Veronica and Jacob Younk Sr. of Reese, MI; sisters, Amanda Younk and Trisha (Zachariah) Ray; grandmother, Donna Adair; grandfather Bob Younk Sr.; aunts and uncles, Charlotte and Jim Fulco, Deb and Dale Telfor, Danny and Barb Adair, Tim Adair, Mark and Bonnie Adair, Rod Adair, Bob Younk Jr., Jim and Leslie Younk, Shelly and John Goodrow, Debbie and Jeff Kinasz; and many many cousins. Jacob was also survived by his nephew and nieces, Bradly Ray, Marissa Younk, Lillian Haskins, Izabella Ray, and Antastazia Ray, mother and father- in- law Mike and Sue Ross of Midland, MI; brother and sisters-in- law, Jason (Kristina) Ross, Jennifer (Edward) DeShone, Jessica (Matt Monteath) Ross, Jody (Shane) Barringer; other nieces and nephews, Grace, Emma, and Kylie Ross, David, Rebecca, and Danielle Augustine, Colton and Zarah Ross, Rhiannon Worrall, Damion Castillo, Xavier and Zariah View. Jacob was preceded in death by grandparents, Jack Adair, Gayle Younk; aunt, Lisa Younk; and cousin, Bob Younk III.
Per Jacobs wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at the Sanford Moose Lodge, Monday April 29, 2019 at 1P.M with Pastor Tony Jacobs of Calvary Chapel Fellowship Church of Vassar, MI officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow.
