Obituary of Linda Lou (Emmendorfer) Zazo

Linda Lou Zazo (Emmendorfer) Freeland, MI Linda was granted her angel wings on April 26, 2019. Her final days were spent at home surrounded by family and friends after a long courageous battle with cancer. Linda, age 59, was born October 9, 1959 in Saginaw, MI to Donna and the late John Zazo. Her interests included gardening, card playing and reading. She devoted all of her time to her four children and her entire family. Linda always reached out to people in need and gave all of her love and anything needed to help someone else even if it took from herself. Linda was a source of love and kindness, her smile was contagious and her children were her whole life. Linda is survived by her children, Jonathan of Linwood, Heather (Michael) Johnson of Flushing, Adam Emmendorfer and Chelo of Midland, Katie Emmendorfer of Freeland, and foster child Jessica (Lamonze) Warren of Midland; her loving mother, Donna of Prescott; siblings, Tom of Prescott, Jim and Dee of Saginaw, Brenda (Les) Bernard of Canada; sister-in-law, Deb of Saginaw; several nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was predeceased by her father John; brothers, Mike and Ron; niece, Sandy; and nephew, Mark Bernard. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday May 4, 2019 at LaPorte United Methodist Church, Freeland MI. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 AM – 12 PM. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Wishes of the Family.
