Obituary of Barbara Jo Winchell

Winchell, Barbara Jo (Bourcier) Essexville MI Barbara, age 58, loving wife, mother, step-mother, grandmother and sister, passed away Wednesday May 1, 2019 with her loving family by her side. Barbara was born to the late Marvin and Marilyn Bourcier. She married Michael K. Winchell on April 21, 2001. Barbara enjoyed trips to the casino, computer games, her children and grandchildren. Barb was a woman with a huge heart, and would open her doors to anyone in need and give a helping hand anytime possible. She enjoyed spending holidays with family and friends, and cooking big meals. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael K. Winchell; her son, Steven (Shaina) Winchell; 3 step-children, Michael (Danyell) Winchell Jr, Melissa (Patrick) Winchell, Karen (Matt) Winchell; 3 brothers, Michael, Robert and Marvin Bourcie; grandchildren, Alexis, Brooklynn, Destyni Gabriel, Dominic, and Karleigh; niece, Tammy Bourcier; nephew, Greg Bourcier; and her best friend of 44 years, Sandy Klosowski. Barbara was preceeded in death by her parents Marvin and Marilyn Bourcier, and her brother Gregory Bourcier. Barbara's wish was to have a Celebration of her Life, which will be held on May 16, 2019 from 5 PM - 10 PM at Hampton Township Hall, 801 W. Center Rd., Essexville MI 48732.
