Obituary of Linda Jean (Vedrode) Syers

Linda Jean (Vedrode) Syers September 18, 1953 - May 3, 2019 Linda, beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend peacefully went home to her promise of Heaven and took her Savior's hand on May 3, 2019. Linda was born September 18, 1953 to the late Zeke and Donna Vedrode in Saginaw Michigan. Linda's life was dedicated to cherishing her family, loving and serving others sacrificially, and always putting the needs of others before her own. Her family is thankful for her love, laughter, and the wonderful memories that are too many to count. Linda is survived by her husband and childhood sweetheart of over 49 years, Tommy Syers; her children & their spouses along with children of her heart encompassing; Michael (Susanne) Syers, Jenifer (Todd) Savage, Steve (Leslie) Vedrode, Jeff Vedrode, Brian (Kimberly) Vedrode, and Adam (Kari) Williams; cherished grandchildren, Ashli (Keith) Adams, Austin Savage, and Jeff Parker; special great-niece and great-nephew, Carter and Payton Vedrode; her siblings and their spouses, Doug (Kathy) Vedrode, Lori (Kevin) Kostal, Dan (Tammy) Vedrode and Tina (Tim) Van Hee. Linda was preceded in death by her granddaughter Deann Parker Rockafellow. A service celebrating Linda's life will take place at 11:00 A.M., Monday, May 13, 2019 at Community Baptist Church, 8331 Gratiot Road, Saginaw, MI 48609, with Dr. Douglas Jackson officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M..
