Obituary of Barbara Jean Bach

Barbara Jean Bach, age 74, died peacefully on May 10, 2019, at McLaren Bay Region Hospital with her loving husband by her side. Barbara was born August 13, 1944 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Jack Tilley and Zola Rundell. Barb was a gentle and kind soul who loved everyone she met. She worked many years at the front counter at Bay Lanes Bowling Center. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and grandpuppy, Emma. Barbara is survived by her husband, Rodney Bach of Bay City; her sons, Thomas (Tracy) Olson, and Terry Olson; her stepchildren, Courtney (Michael) Goulet, Emily (Robbie) Kochanny, Ryan (Danielle) Bach; grandchildren, Sierra and Jordan Olson, Lincoln and Lexee Olson, Allie and Lucas Kochanny, Jacob, Alina and Delano Bach; brothers-in-law, Dave Bach and Brian Bach; sister-in-law, Kathy (Ed) Morris; beloved niece, Nancy (Larry) Finkbeiner; and special friend, Sue Peplinski. She is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Sharlene Olson, her parents, and sisters, Frieda Walmsley, Evelyn Campbell, and Jackie Walters. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Crossway Christian Church, 3307 Keisel Road, Bay City, at 1:00 pm with a reception following. The family will be receive friends and visitors prior to the service from 11:00 am until service time. Richard Taglauer will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Barb's life. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Bangor Home for the loving care they provided Barb throughout the last nine years.
