Obituary of William Douglas Limban

William Douglas Limban, 79, of West Branch, Michigan passed peacefully June 13, 2019, surrounded by family and friends. An avid outdoorsman, he was happiest in northern Michigan & more specifically at the home he restored which sat on the banks of the Rifle River. He loved wildlife, especially deer, riding motorcycles and snowmobiles, fishing, and hunting. He also enjoyed cars, painting and dancing. A retiree of The State of Michigan, later in life he began to winter in the southern U.S. His great joy in those years was spending time at a beach home in Mexico Beach, Florida and being with family in Arizona. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Azalia Limban, sister Joan Mullen and fiancé, Marie Nelson. Surviving are his sons Will (Bob) and Jeff Limban, grandchildren Zaley, Liam, Logan, Ellie and Andy, cousins, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. A luncheon service celebrating his life, friends and family will be Wednesday , June 19, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the West Branch Country Club, 1905 South Fairview Road, West Branch, Michigan.
