Obituary of Yvonne M. Rolandson
Yvonne Marie Rolandson, age 82, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019. She was born on November 25, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan. Yvonne was retired from the State of Michigan, Department of Natural Resources, where she worked as a biologist with the Non-Game Wildlife Fund In the 1980s she was employed as a park ranger for the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. She enjoyed gardening, hiking, and traveling.
Yvonne is survived by her son Lars (Sheila) Rolandson; two grandchildren, Leif (Ann) Rolandson and Kirsten (Dustin) Roberts; and four great grandchildren, Gauge & Gunner Rolandson, Celeste & Radley Roberts. The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the staff of Michigan Premiere Hospice and Robinwood Landing for their superior care. No services are planned.
